We entered the roasted coffee business with our brand COOCENTRAL COFFEE, carrying out an empowerment work that we started in our region and that we plan to expand to the whole country, to promote the consumption of high-quality coffee that our coffee growers produce; something the coffee industry owes to Colombians, and we also consider a fundamental exercise to attack structurally the problem of stabilizing coffee prices in Colombia. Thinking of encouraging the national consumption of our coffee, we have our products available throughout the country through the virtual store www.cafescoocentral.com.co
We started a new COOCENTRAL brand, called FERTICOLOMBIA, a project for the direct importation of fertilizers, through the strategic alliance with the ACRON company, we have positioned ourselves in the regional market, with national projection, excellent quality products and easily accessible to our associates.

We made our first direct coffee export to the United States. In this first year, we managed to export about 15,000 bags of coffee, not only to the United States but also to Canada, Germany, Sweden, Australia, and Ukraine. The cooperative has exported per year about 20,000 bags of excelso coffee. 2017 “All our exports have the essential component of being specialty coffees."
We received a visit from the Australian actor HUGH JACKMAN, co-founder of the Laughing Man Foundation company, one of our most important international clients. Delighted with our coffee beans, he decided to go on a journey to know its origin. He decided to take a trip to know its origin. The impact that COOCENTRAL and their coffee growers had on Hugh Jackman was so great, that he decided to make a social investment for around 400,000 dollars in the COOCENTRAL’s social programs about housing and education. Contributions that persist.
